The third edition of Texhibition Istanbul, a leading fabric, yarn and textile accessories fair, will be held from 8-10 March 2023 at the Istanbul Expo Center. The event is organized by the Istanbul Textile Exporters' Association (ITHIB) and supported by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC).

With an aim to attract more than 25,000 international visitors, the fair will feature over 400 exhibitors from the areas of knitwear, woven fabrics, denim, yarns and accessories, showcasing their 2024 spring-summer collections on 15,000 square meters of space.

The previous edition of the fair in September 2022 saw 20,606 visitors from 97 countries, including the EU, UK, USA, North Africa and the Middle East. The fair is expecting to attract a similar number of visitors in March 2023, including large clothing manufacturers, purchasing managers of international chain stores and department stores, managers of international brands and chains with their own brand collections, managers of online sales platforms, importers, wholesalers, distributors, and designers.

"With Texhibition Istanbul, we have created a platform that efficiently networks high-quality Turkish textile production and the international fashion business. Texhibition meets the industry's need for secure nearshore supply chains and is a catalyst to boost Tรผrkiye's exports," said Ahmet ร–ksรผz, Chairman of ITHIB.

In 2022, the textile industry in Turkey achieved an export volume of approximately 13 billion US dollars, exporting to a total of 200 countries and regions. The target for 2023 is to reach an export volume of around US$ 15 billion. Turkey is known for its high-quality products, reliability, and short delivery times, ranking fifth in the world and second in the EU as an important sourcing market for all over the world.

The trend area at Texhibition will feature the latest trends for spring-summer 2024 with a focus on sustainability. The fair is also complemented by IFCO, Istanbul Fashion Connection, which will take place from 8-11 February 2023 at the Istanbul Expo Center.
